Pinball AI is a sovereign data economy for useful machine work. It ties MAZA payments, member identity, local computers, RAG memory, scoped credentials, and human approval into one operating layer where AI jobs can move without giving every node the keys.
SUN coordinates the rules, Alice Brain ovens process bounded jobs, Rotary Relay carries receipts and health signals, and pgvector memory supplies context. The worker sees only the task it is trusted to bake; the frontend receives validated output; OpenAI remains available when local inference needs frontier review.
Prompt power, public payout addresses, MAZA accounting, and batch transactions create a local economic layer for accepted AI work without exposing wallet secrets to worker nodes.
Brain-specific vector stores turn documents, prompts, reports, and operational records into retrievable context so models answer from governed memory instead of isolated completion.
RoRe is the private coordination plane for agent receipts, status, and handoffs. It coordinates distributed work while keeping public surfaces narrow and auditable.
Registered nodes receive scoped tokens, model requirements, and job contracts. The server validates outputs before storage, display, payment, or escalation.
The architecture is cyborg by design: local machines do repeatable work, frontier models assist when needed, and people keep approval authority where accuracy, money, and trust matter.
Runs approved local models on registered ovens so everyday prompts, embeddings, OCR, and report prep can happen on trusted hardware before any frontier escalation.
Qwen embedders turn PB and DOPE memory into vectors. Qwen chat models bake local answers, draft strategy, and keep private context useful without defaulting to a datacenter call.
OpenAI is the higher ceiling: accuracy checks, hard questions, final polish, and paid-value work when the local oven knows the answer needs more reasoning or confidence.
Brain types keep their own governed context. Questions retrieve relevant chunks first, then models answer from the mapped memory instead of guessing from a blank prompt.
Accepted local bakes can be counted, priced, and paid in batch windows. The oven earns for useful work while the server protects the wallet and validates the output.
SUN checks contracts, stores approved artifacts, and exposes only finished work to the frontend. Ovens receive scoped jobs, not production authority.
